The orchestra (originally known as the Jan Modelski Pop Orchestra) was started in 2019 by Jan Modelski, an accomplished musician who is passionate about community music, bringing local musicians together.
This orchestra’s repertoire strays from the conventional classical set, exploring instead the wonderful world of pop, theatre and musicals .
Interested in joining us? We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7.30-10pm at St Anne’s Parish Centre, Highfield Road, Rock Ferry, Wirral. If you would like more details, just get in touch using our contact page. There are no auditions – all you need is an instrument!
What we can promise you at our rehearsals is an enjoyable evening’s playing in a relaxed atmosphere – with plenty of encouragement and help on hand.
